This is the first in I hope a series of articles to highlight my discoveries and opinions of the Point of Existence 2 Mod for BF2.

A few of our members were invited to Stress test a near final build of POE:2.   This article is just to show off some of the eye candy and give everyone a taste of what the game looks like.

This first look will cover the sites and first impressions.  Not much on game play because I need to play some to pick up the details there.

First off- Worth the wait? Yes!  The POE team has done it a again.  Their attention to detail, and love of eye candy shines everywhere.  Sure it doesn't add to the quality of game play, but it does make for a great looking game.  I found myself distracted by details and nice touches everywhere.  If you take the time to slow down you will find lots of interesting things.

Scarecrows and Young Dev love.   Small touches but they are all over the place. Checkout

the church yard and all the gravestones, good cover when you need it.  Winter Camo chute!

Nice  Grain Elevator and the details of the broken bridge....

Now for some of the toys, I will update the full names later.  Here is the Hind--troop carrier, or death trap?

The Euro chopper.   If your AA isn't guarding your armor, this thing will tear you up!

Lastly one of your best friends against a full sky----Mobile AA!!!  Finally the air has a real threat.

Just look at the snow on the armor, very nice touch!

More to follow on Game play and maps.
